Auto Trader Spotlight Ads
I'd like to get your opinion on Auto Trader Spotlight ads. These are the ads that allow you to place an individual car at the top of AutoTrader with a very brief description of the car.
Is anyone having success with these ads?
Are these ads a waste of money?

Dan,
Out of all the options available, these have been the best solution for us.
Shoppers come to AT to see pictures of actual vehicles for sale - not banner ads.
Be sure to haggle with your rep on the price points. I believe they're $150/each - buy enough and you can probably get them for half-price.

I have been told that Spotlights can be purchased in a bundle for as low as $50.00 each.

We were able to get them at the level...good to hear that more people are being made aware.
(So many dealers purchase these ads, and don't use all of them - pure profit for AutoTrader)
